Update has been Released
The role play server update has now been released. Again, from the entire administration team, we apologize for the few hour delay that followed the intended release time of 1:00 EST GMT -5. However, with this delay, rest assured that your passwords are MD5 hashed and your account will remain secure for time to come.
If you have checked out the update in game, you may have noticed how heavily player driven it is. This is your opportunity to step up and play a significant part in our new realistic environment. It will take effort to work your way up to the top, but we promise that you will enjoy this just like you enjoy climbing to the last level of your game. There is now meaning to everything you do. There will never be an end to the exciting experience here at Sin City.
Remember, tell your friends, its great to approach this new environment in groups. We have administrators standing by in game, and yes, when you submit a report, you will have the attention of some one to help you. You have just about every service we can offer at your disposal. Bring your friends, we have your back and we will always do our best to make your stay at Sin City the most pleasurable.
Again, thank you so much for your patience with the release of the update. This is all you now, you and your friends will continue to move us forward. I personally promise that everyone will shine in Sin City. Live the dream.

Update Releases at 1:00 PM GMT -5
The update is finally almost here! You have patiently waited many weeks for us, and now it is our turn to thank you. Prepare yourself for the only realism server to find itself on SA-MP, our favorite multi-player mod.
At exactly 1:00 PM GMT -5, we will be launching the new game mode. At this time, you may preregister for this new system at register.sincityrp.com. Accounts will be accepted as they are requested all day long. Our administration team will be on standby all day to help get you situated.
If you have registered, please be sure that you read everything for your own benefit. Lets all make arrangements to be there for the opening. Let this be a new beginning, one that will not fade.
Sin City, to this day we continue to move forward. Be there, dont miss out!
PS. Sorry for the website compatability issues. This was just released and we still need to tidy this up for IE compatability as well as some other general bugs. Thanks.
Coming Soon
The new website is now online after a few days of work by Blake. It will be tidied up and completely functional soon. Registration and other services will remain online. In regards to the script update, it will be out shortly, that is it, and it is official. Please check back soon at sincityrp.com.

Sin City Progresses
Sin City Administrative Planning Department along with our SA:MP Scripting Team has more amazing script-side features on the way to enhance gameplay.
At this time a complete banking system including a Federal Reserve, an exterrnal contractor for armored transport, a bank with tellers, accounts, a vault, and ATM machines throughout the city are on the way. In addition, we're planning for mechanics, we'll be opening up repair shops, closing down pay and sprays and modshops so that mechanics can do all of this at their repairshops.
We've had some great work done by Mr. Rizzi and his crew over here, including a fully featured admin system, which includes a completely redone permissions system. In other words, at this point, we can add, edit, or remove just about anything in game. That means you get what you want faster. Anything is possible is possible here.
Don't forget, we have our MTA scripting team pushing a release. After moving to MTA, we'll have full synchronization and many new features that were never possible on SA:MP. Also, get involved! Stop by the Production Crew forum and sign up! We have avertising and funding projects ready to go. We're also going to need some more donations. We're always a month or so ahead in funding, but for us, that's tight. If we can get some more donations, we'll be able to continue. Remember, invite your friends where the people role play, not RPG. Thank you for your continued support.
A Change of Staff and Scripting Plans
Recently, the lead admins have decided to wipe the members of the administrative team, with exceptions of just a few, as well as add a few new admins in their place. This was due to many miscommunication and progress problems involving the administrative team. The lead admins felt that a lot of the administrators on the server were not putting in enough effort to communicate and improve the server in a time of need. Several long time admins have also left the server, some due to conflicts involving the server, but most of the others due to real life issues. Best of luck to all of them.
As well as releasing this information to the public, the admin team also informed the community that a role play script will be developed for another San Andreas multiplayer mod, known as Multi Theft Auto(MTA). MTA has many excellent features for role play that SA:MP does not contain, and has less lag and sync problems. The development of the script will take a while though, and the SAMP server will remain running and should be updated shortly.
Expansion of the SCRP Community
Since a majority of the Sin City community has enjoyed using the Sin City ventrilo and forums to discuss other computer games, the admin team decided to branch out the community to other multiplayer games. The first game that has been added is Red Orchestra, a World War II first- person shooter. We have now opened up our own Red Orchestra server, which, after days of work from Vinny, is now fully functional and entertaining. It is the same ip address as the current SAMP server, and the game is available in stores, as well as on Steam for $19.95. It is good fun and will potentially bring more members to our growing community. More info can be found on the game and our RO server in the "Red Orchestra" section of our forums.
